Pokemon Go has announced yet another crossover event to celebrate the adventures of Ash Ketchum and his current travels in Pokemon Journeys: The Series. During the Animation Week event, players will encounter the Pokemon collected by Ash and Goh. The new season of the animated series of mainline Pokemon anime has begun to air in Spain via Boing. The new event therefore, is inspired by not only the characters, but also the storyline of the new animated series.

Pokemon Journeys: The Series

The new season of the eternal Pokemon saga rubs differently when compared to the previous seasons, for it not only features all the cast of the previous seasons, but it also introduces a new character named Goh. Goh might seem more relatable to many, for he catches Pokemon in curve-ball manner- quite familiar to all of the pokemon go players. As Ash and Goh travel the world trying to catch ’em all, the infamous companion of Ash since the last 23 seasons, Pikachu might finally evolve into Raichu, which will bring an interesting twist in the storyline.

Handy Tip To Hatch Eggs Quicker In Pokemon Go

It might be a hassle a for you to walk miles in order to get an egg to hatch. Even when Niantic slashed the walking distance in half for eggs, it’s difficult for players to walk so much on a daily basis, especially when you are hunting for a shiny Pokemon. So, how do you skip past the limitations and yourself a ton of eggs? More importantly, how do we do that? Well, first of all you need to know that we do this for determining shiny rates through egg hatches only. We do this with this little nifty tool from Amazon and we get around anywhere near 60km to 110km daily.

If you are really a hardcore Pokemon Go player, you might need this one in order to acquire all of the shiny Pokemons from egg hatches.

Animation Week Raid Bosses

Starting from November 6, Pokemon such as Ivysaur, Pinsir, Snorlax and Gorlurk will be appearing in the Tier 1 and 3 raids. Lugia is coming back to the 5-star raids with its exclusive move- Aeroblast (more). These are the Pokemon encountered by Ash and Goh in the Anime, and the Animation Week mainly focuses on such Pokemon.

Debut of Lugia with Aeroblast

Coming to the arguably most exciting and anticipated part of the event- the Flying/Psychic type Legendary Lugia will return to the Five-star raids with its signature move: Aeroblast. This Flying-type move is especially viable in the PvP battles, for with the bulk of Lugia and probable high damage of Aeroblast, Lugia will become an absolute beast. And some very lucky trainers might even encounter a shiny Lugia.

Lugia will remain in the five-star raids from November 5 to 16, so we recommend you to raid plenty, if you want to get a shiny.
