Niantic is all set to celebrate the Day of the Dead in Pokemon Go with the Dia de los Muertos Event 2020. With the official announcement of the event by Niantic, the event is set to take place this November and run over the course of two days. This event is again region exclusive and is available for Trainers living in the Latin America Region.

The Day of the Dead is a holiday observed in Mexico and other parts of the Americas that celebrates the lives and the memory of family and friends who are no longer with us. In Mexican tradition, it’s said that the spirits of the deceased return to the world of the living during this special time to share a joyful celebration with their loved ones, surrounded by candles, flowers, fruit, bread, sugar skulls, incense, and other traditional foods and decorations!

Day of the Dead Event Date & Time

The Day of the Dead event will run from Sunday, November 1, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, November 2, 2020, at 11:59 p.m. local time for Trainers living in Latin America region.

Dia de los Muertos Event Features

Celebrating the Day of the Dead, Niantic has made available a number of fun additions during the Dia de los Muertos Event this time around. What this means is, Trainers in Latin America Region can enjoy plethora of quests and increased spawn in the game, mainly centered around the Pokemon representing the different elements of the Day of the Dead. Here’s a detailed list of all the features of this year’s Pokemon Go Dia de los Muertos Event or Day of the Dead Event 2020.
